Went to Jusco Balakong today, with family. Walked around....ate lunch...and then went back. Kinda lame huh? Normally we'll break up and each of us would go to different destinations...and we'll meet up at a place when we were about to go back. Normally the meeting place is at the cinema.



I went up to the cinema when it was about time, to meet the rest of my family members. Spotted them sitting at the bench, so I walked towards them. I let my eyes wandered around the cinema area...looking up at banners. New movies coming out.....now showing...and so on. And...right at the end of the building, something big caught my eye. Well, obviously it is the biggest banner over there.

The movie title : 2012 Underneath the title, it wrote : We were warned. Coming out in November.



I stopped short and....I started to think. think. think.



Haha. 2012? Why must they choose this particular year?


Oh well....it sounded like an omen to me. I'm not being superstitious here...it's just that...it's a sign or something?


First. I read about the year 2012 in the Star newspaper. That was maybe...a month ago? It was quite a big article. I read through...and it reported that scientists have predicted that in the year of 2012, there will be a catastrophe. Which is, the Sun Storm. The sun storm are likely to occur every century...and if it does hits at the year of 2012, most likely.....humanity will be in trouble. We don't know what the sun are capable of...because we have not experience anything BIG yet.


Sun storm. will have a big effect on our electronic world. What? c'mon, we're now living in the 21st century. Most of the cities in the world uses electricity power generator to provide electricity to all over the countries. IF the sun storm hits, it will eventually melts down the generator, causing darkness to spread all over the world..you know, you've seen it in movies right? Have you watched The Day After Tomorrow? It's like.....a chain reaction.


The Earth's temperature will rise rapidly, causing the polar ice caps to melt....at a dangerous rate. When it melts, the sea level are likely to rise...until it can sink an island down under. Have you heard about the Atlantis? What about Tsunami? Ah, the movie the Day After Tomorrow is the best example. You can see how the New York city eventually sank.

Second, I went to the Times bookstore in Pavillion. I was wandering around, picking up books randomly. AND. again. I saw a book that caught my attention. 2012. YEAH. BOOK TITLE? 2012..again. I read the synopsis behind the book...and roughly it says, " The Mayan has long predicted that there will be a catastrophe in the year of 2012." The Mayan is erm.....a culture? a city? All I know is that The Mayan were dead a few thousand years ago. They had a prophecy....lots of them. And one of them is about 2012.




Third, I was watching Astro, switching channels....when I flipped to channel 555 ( History channel) it was showing this programme named the " 7 signs" I was curious....so I stayed on and watched. It was about the Bible. I guessed it must be the Old Testament...I don't know..... all I know is, in the Bible, it was written about these....7 signs. It wrotes about all the catastrophe that may happen in the future...and if I'm not mistaken, the 4th or the 5th sign? It wrotes about the "sun" Again, another prophecy.



FOURTH. yeah I've mentioned already above. Today, at the cinema.


SO...what does all these meant?? I kept seeing all these..2012, 2012, 2012. WHAT IS THE HECK UP WITH 2012???!! I am kinda fedup already.



Will it REALLY HAPPEN in 2012?? If it doesn't I know there will be a catastrophe coming...maybe not so soon. Maybe decades? centuries? millennium? ( AT LEAST UNTIL AFTER I DIE OR AFTER MY CHIDLREN OR MY GENERATION DIE LAH.)



We'll wait and see. lol?
