Title : [Words] Words....they are so important to us. Because..words..are used to express your thoughts, feelings and emotions. To let other people know what or how exactly you are feeling, or thinking. We use words to communicate, which comes in many ways. We use words to send our gratitude towards someone, to apologize, to teach, to entertain, and...many more. Words, some may hurt, some may entertain. Words, come in different types in cultures and symbols. Therefore,forming different languages, to communicate with different people from different cultures. Sadly, there are words..although small in quantity yet powerful and meaningful, buried deep in my heart. Unable to be free and be heard. Words that I want to say, to express..were forbidden. Words that I desired to pour it out, were trapped deep beneath the ocean, like dead bodies buried in the earth. Eventually it will turn into dust, and vanish forever. Its existence will be forgotten as time goes by, as the human mind works that way, forgetful always. However, words cannot die. They cannot be destroyed. Words can keep a person immortal......to the human memory. Sonnet 18, the persona has kept his lover's beauty immortal...through words. I struggled to set the words free...but I could not. I am forbidden from doing it. Left me feeling angry and frustrated all the time. Words cannot be destroyed..but, it will be forgotten in the human memory....as time goes by. Which also means, those words will eventually free themselves.... |
